MANITOU CARES PRESENTS…
Manitou Cares is back for another year and we have some exciting volunteer and fundraising events headed your way. We can’t wait to see what the Manitou community will do to make the world a better place this year and these events are just the beginning! 

THE VE’AHAVTA PROJECT IS BACK! 
Once again, Manitou Cares is proud to be supporting Ve’ahavta with their biggest event of the year. Please join our Manitou Team, and fundraise prior to the big event. Then, on Sunday, November 6th 2022, join us at the Lipa Green Centre from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM to help us make blankets for those experiencing homelessness. Together we can make a difference in people’s lives and have a lot of fun doing it!

KICstART IS COMING!
After two years without in-person fundraising events, Manitou Cares is excited to announce that Kids in Camp will be hosting ‘KICstART’, a unique art experience, featuring a silent auction to celebrate artistry while raising funds to allow more kids to experience the wonders of camp. We have two incredible Manitou campers, Jacob Chisick & Stella Glickman, and one amazing camper parent, Rachael Grad, whose art will be featured in KIC’s upcoming auction. So come out on Sunday, November 6th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM to Gallery 133 (1260 Castlefield Ave) for an afternoon of art, auctioning, and a lot of fun for a great cause!

MONTHLY SANDWICH MAKING PROGRAM
We are very excited to continue this monthly sandwich making program as it has been a huge success in past years! We have availability for Manitou Families to take on preparing 200 sandwiches as a family, group of friends or cabin group.. These sandwiches will then be delivered by the family to Evangel Hall Mission to be given out to their clients. Please email Jen to sign up.
