JUNIOR COUNSELLORS

	Mitchell Allen Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Mitchell is a graduate of the Claude Watson Program at Earl Haig majoring in Screen Arts. Several of his films have been accepted into the Zoom Film Festival and won the title of "Best Editor." Mitchell has volunteered with organizations including Ve'ahavta and Out of the Cold, plays the piano and holds his Black Belt in Karate. A Manitou camper for 7 years, Mitchell completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
	Alec Amato Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Alec is a graduate of the Claude Watson Program at Earl Haig having majored in Drama. During the year, Alec was a sectional editor for his school's yearbook and was Artistic Director for his school's Me To We Charity Week and AIDS awareness club. He teaches Drama to underprivileged children in the START program and was a finalist at the Sears Drama Festival with a group winning and award of merit for "Best Ensemble." A Manitou camper for seven years, Alec completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
	Nicole Barron Jr. Counsellor	From West Bloomfield, Michigan, Nicole is a graduate of Andover High School. During the year, Nicole has volunteered as a Teaching Assistant at Temple Shir Shalom and as a Student Mentor at her school. A Manitou camper for four years, she completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Eric Barsky Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Eric is a student at the community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Eric is a competitive hockey and soccer player. He has also volunteered at Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda for the past 3 years as a childcare worker. A Manitou camper for six years, Eric completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Alexis Berger Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Lexi is a student at Forest Hill Collegiate. During the year, Lexi works as a snowboarding instructor at Alpine Ski Club and has also volunteered with Out of the Cold. A Manitou camper for nine years, she completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be Lexi's first summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Zoe Berkley Jr. Counsellor	From Thornhill, Ontario, Zoe is a graduate of Westmount Collegiate. During the year she runs the Cancer Awareness Committee at her school. She also has experience at Vibe Dance and Fitness as an Assistant Instructor and as a Swim Instructor at Richmond Hill Country Club holding her NLS and WSI certifications. A Manitou camper for three years, Zoe completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Jory Binder Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jory is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Jory has been involved with Peers Against Drugs and her school's Change Committee. He has also done work with March of the Living, Rock Your Cause and Baycrest Hospital. Previously, she has also worked in Daycare at Beth Shalom Synagogue. She also holds her NLS and WSI certifications. A Manitou camper for eight years, Jory completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Kieran Bracken Jr. Counsellor	From Thornhill, Ontario, Kieran is a student at Langstaff Secondary School. During the year Kieran is a competitive swimmer with both his school and regional swim team. Ha has also worked as an assistant Swim Instructor at Frank's Swim School holding his NLS and AWSI certifications. A Manitou camper for five years, Kieran completed our CIT program in 2009, also receiving the Lokash Award that season. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Orly Brooker Jr. Counsellor	From Atlanta, Georgia, Orly is a student at the Westminster Schools. During the year she competes on her school's Soccer and Cross Country teams and does volunteer work with her synagogue. A Manitou camper for five years, Orly completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff.
	Noah Burshtein Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Noah is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Noah plays on the school's varsity Basketball and Baseball teams and was also the captain of the BSC Hornets, a rep team winning the 2009 provincial championship. He previously volunteered as a Youth Service Leader with Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda. A Manitou Camper for four years, Noah completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
	Corey Campbell Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Corey is a student at Crestwood Preparatory College. During the year, Corey has worked as a DJ with Sole Power Productions and as a Snowboarding Instructor at Alpine Ski Club. He has also been and avid golfer for over eight years and holds his Bronze Medallion. A Manitou camper for eight years, Corey completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Caity Cohen Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Caity is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Caity is the editor of her school's yearbook and a leader of the Peers Against Drugs committee. She also competes in snowboarding and has been involved with programs such as Out of the Cold and Invest in Kids and holds her Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for seven years, Caity completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Matt Cole Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Matt is a student at Greenwood College School. During the year, Matt is an avid snowboarder, guitar player and BMX biker. He worked as an assistant at the Toronto Bike Show in 2009 and has volunteered as a reading buddy at Dundas Public School. A Manitou camper for eight years, Matt completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Rachel Davis Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Rachel is a graduate of Northern Secondary. Rachel has taken courses in art, design, film and photography and also plays piano. Her writing has been published in the Toronto Public Library Young Voices magazine and she is an executive member of her school's literary magazine and Cancer Committee. Rachel has also been and Event and Daycare Volunteer with Beth Shalom Synagogue. A Manitou camper for two years, Rachel completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Jenni Diamond Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jenni is a student at Greenwood College School. Through her school Jenni has participated in a series of outdoor experiences including sea kayaking and dog sledding. She also works as a Swim Instructor with Zodiac Swim School holding her NLS and WSI certifications. A Manitou camper for nine years, Jenni completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff and 10th summer at Manitou.
	Brian Ebata Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Brian is a student at Ursula Franklin Academy. During the year, Brian is involved with his school's Environmental Alliance club and Guatemala Project. He has past experience volunteering with Sunnyside Garden Daycare and also plays piano. A Manitou camper for four years, Brian completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Sasha Engel Hercz Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Sasha is a student at Upper Canada College. During the year, he plays on his school's varsity Football, Basketball and Rugby teams. He is also a regular tennis player at Greenwin Tennis Club. He has past experience as a Soccer Camp Counsellor with UCC Summer Camps and as a tutor with Horizons Tutoring. A Manitou camper for three years, Sasha completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Daniel Freder Jr. Counsellor	From Montreal, Quebec, Daniel is a student at Dawson College studying Arts and Culture. Daniel has sat as President of his school's Student Council, has volunteered as a Children's Supervisor at Shaare Zion and has competed nationally in debating including at the North American championship. Daniel is a certified CSIA ski instructor and holds his Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for eight years, Daniel completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
	Thea Gaertner Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Thea is a graduate of the Bishop Strachan School. During the year she has participated with her school's leadership program, grad committee and sat on the Service Learning Council. Thea is an active volunteer with the Beth Torah Congregation working with the pre bar and bat mitzvah program. She also holds her Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for seven years, Thea completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Syd Glatter Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Sydney is a graduate of Forest Hill Collegiate. During the year she plays soccer with North Toronto. She has volunteered as a Teaching Assistant at Leo Baeck and holds her Bronze Cross and PCO card. A Manitou camper for five years, Sydney completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Elyse Goodfield Jr. Counsellor	From Thornhill, Ontario, Elyse is a graduate of Westmount Collegiate. During the year Elyse teaches swimming at the Pavilion, holding her NLS and WSI certification, and is also one of the heads of cancer awareness at her school. She has previously danced competitively at Young Dancers of Canada and sat on her school's Student Council. A Manitou camper for three years, Elyse completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Jamie Gorlick Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jamie is a student at the Tanebaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year he works as a part time referee and also plays with Avenue Road Hockey. He also volunteers with Beth Shalom Synagogue. Jamie holds his Bronze Medallion and PADI diving certification. He was a Manitou camper for nine years completing our CIT program in 2009. This will be Jamie's first summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Rayna Greenspan Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Rayna is a student at the Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Rayna plays on her school's varsity Hockey team and is an avid tennis player. She also holds her Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for nine years, Rayna completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Daniel Hoffer Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Daniel is a student at Upper Canada College. During the year Daniel plays on his school's Basketball and Volleyball teams. He has volunteered with Beth Torah Synagogue and the Terry Fox Run and worked as a private lifeguard holding his NLS certification. A Manitou camper for nine years, Daniel completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Avery Hoffman Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Avery is a student at the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, avery is a student retreat leader for her school's Shabbaton program. A competitive dancer for eight years, Avery is also a dancer her in school's Fashion Show. She holds her NLS certification. A Manitou camper for eight years, Avery completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff.
	Sam Keshen Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Sam is a student at the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year Sam is an avid guitar player and records his own music and also plays 'single-A' hockey. He is also completing his Bronze Medallion. A Manitou camper for eight years, he completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be Sam's first summer on staff.
	Jenna LaRose Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jenna is a student at Havergal College. During the year, Jenna is a chorographer for her school's dance troupe and completed her grade eight Royal Academy of Dance exam. She also volunteers with Derrydown Public School's homework club, competes on her school's Synchronized Swimming team and holds her Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for eight years, Jenna completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff.
	Adam Levine Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Adam is a student at the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. He has played AAA hockey with the Toronto Red Wings for eight years and recently won gold for Team Canada at the World Jewish Ice Hockey Championships. An avid waterskier during the summer, Adam also holds his Bronze Cross. He was a Manitou camper for nine years completing our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Dustin Levy Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Dustin is a graduate of Forest Hill Collegiate. During the year Dustin plays competitive hockey, baseball and also plays guitar. He has experience volunteering with Ve'ahavta and at Beth Tzedec Synagogue. A Manitou camper for eight years, Dustin completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Jack Lipson Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jack is a graduate of Forest Hill Collegiate. During the year, Jack plays competitive hockey and tennis. He is also an avid guitar player, has had experience as a guitar teacher and worked in the role of admin assistant at Interprovincial Music Camp. A Manitou camper for eight years, Jack completed our CIT program and received the Lokash Award in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Ben Mayer-Goodman Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Ben is a student at Etobicoke School of the Arts majoring in Drama. Ben has volunteered as a music assistant at the Beecroft Learning Centre for the Autistic and as a caregiver with Boundless Adventure. A Manitou camper for eight years, Ben received the Lokash Award in 2006 and completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Adam Morina Jr. Counsellor	From Santa Monica, California, Adam is a student at Crossroads School. An avid swimmer and basketball player during the year, Adam has also been playing tennis for several years. A Manitou camper for seven years, he completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be Adam's first summer on staff.
	Josh Morton Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Josh is a graduate of Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year Josh teaches snowboarding with Alpine Ski Club and holds his level 2 CASI instructors certification. He also plays competitive baseball, hockey and flag football and holds his level 1 umpiring certification. A Manitou camper for eight years, Josh completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Daniel Oelbaum Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Daniel is a student at the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Daniel works as a ski instructor at Alpine Ski club and holds his Level 1 CSIA Instructors certification. He also regularly plays baseball, soccer and hockey. A Manitou camper for nine years, Daniel completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff and tenth at Manitou.
	Bethany Opler Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Bethany is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year Bethany has played on her school's Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer and Tennis teams and performs in the school play. She also holds her NLS. 	Charlie Prussky Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Charlie is a graduate of Northern Secondary. During the year, Charlie works as a Swimming Instructor at Zodiac Swim School and holds his NLS and WSI certifications. He is also involved in his school's Smartrisk program and Student Council. 	Josh Robins Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Josh is a student at Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. A competitive hockey player for many years, Josh currently plays select for Forest Hill. He also coached hockey at Leo Baeck for two seasons. Josh completed the CIT program at Camp Arrowhead and holds his Bronze Medallion. A Manitou camper for eight years, Josh completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Sierra Robins Jr. Counsellor	From Aurora, Ontario, Sierra is a student at Aurora High School. During the year, Sierra volunteers at an Early Childhood Learning Centre and works with her school's Social Committee. A Manitou camper for seven years, Sierra completed our CIT program in 2009. 	Ashley Rosenberg Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Ashley is a student at Forest Hill Collegiate. During the year, Ashley serves as a school Prefect and works as a Swimming Instructor at Zodiac Swim School holding her Bronze Cross and WSI certifications. She also has experience as an assistant educator at Temple Sinai. A Manitou camper for seven years, Ashley completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff.
	Jordan Rostowsky Jr. Counsellor	From Thornhill, Ontario, Jordan is a student at the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Jordan plays with his school's Hockey, Baseball and Cross Country teams and also plays rep hockey. A member of his school's Athletic Council, he is also a volunteer youth leader at hi synagogue. A Manitou camper for six years, Jordan completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Sam Rumack Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Sam is a graduate of Forest Hill Collegiate. During the year, Sam has had past experience as a student teacher and Holy Blossom Temple and volunteering with the North York Harvest Food Bank. He also attended golf camp for three years. A Manitou camper for five years, Sam completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
	Alana Spira Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Alana is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. She has been involved in her school's play, Dance Fashion show, Holocaust Education Committee and competed with the Cross Country team. She also has experience as a volunteer programmer with Na'amat. A Manitou camper for six years, Alana completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Sarah Spitz Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Sarah is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year Sarah is a competitive swimmer, holding her NLS and coaching her high school team. She has volunteer experience as a timer with the North York Aquatic Club and with the USDS Gala and also has been involved with her school's play. A Manitou camper for four years, Sarah completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Emma Stein Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Emma is completing her high school diploma at Neuchatel Junior College in Switzerland. During the year, Emma has been involved with her school's sailing club and participated in a community service trip to Morocco. She previously worked as a peer tutor through the Horizons program. She has been playing tennis and soccer for many years, is an avid waterskier and holds her Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for four years, Emma completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be her second summer on staff.
	Aaron Stern Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Aaron is a student at Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. He had experience volunteering with Ve'ahavta and working as a Hockey Instructor with Dynamic Hockey School. Aaron has also filmed and appeared in videos for R.A. Productions. A Manitou camper for eight years, Aaron completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be his first summer on staff.
	Jordan Stern Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jordan is a graduate of the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. During the year, Jordan competes with his school's varsity volleyball team and has played competitive hockey for over 10 years. He also has experience as a volunteer with Adath Israel and tutoring at Leo Baeck. A Manitou camper for six years, Jordan completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
	Paige Thompson Jr. Counsellor	From Paget, Bermuda, Paige is a student at Uppingham School in England studying Politics, Philosophy, History and Theatre. She has been involved in several theatrical performances, is a member of her school's badminton team and is an avid photographer. She also holds her Bronze Cross. A Manitou camper for eight years, Paige completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff.
	Jeremy Winkler Jr. Counsellor	From Toronto, Ontario, Jeremy is a graduate of the York School. During the year Jeremy teaches Snowboarding at Alpine Ski Club. He has also played competitive volleyball and soccer and has done some volleyball coaching at his school. A Manitou camper for five years, Jeremy completed our CIT program in 2008. This will be his second summer on staff.
