 | Gord Anderson Admin & Facility | Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Gord now lives in Toronto, Ontario where he has been working and taking courses through Ryerson University. Gord is a graduate of Bemidji State University in Minnesota with a Science degree. He played Division II NCAA baseball while at school, and has had coaching experience including a position as Assistant Coach of the York University Men's Varsity Team. In 2002, Gord was named World Games captain. This will be his tenth summer at Manitou. |
 | Jamie Bryant Admin & Facility | From Bath, United Kingdom, Jamie is a student at Bath City College. He has past work experience as a waiter at the Island Sailing Club. This will be his first summer working at Manitou. |
 | Leigh Bryant Admin & Facility | Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Leigh grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she has spent the past year working. She is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec with a degree in International Development and Religious Studies. After graduation, Leigh spent a year travelling and working in Japan, then moved to Toronto, Ontario where she was involved with youth Drama programs and community events. She has past experience as a 'Floor Fellow' supervisor in the McGill residence system and was involved in theatre programs for over 12 years, writing, acting and directing. She was a national level Synchronized Swimmer and holds her NCCP level one coaching certification. In 2008, Leigh was named World Games Captain. She returns for her fourth summer at Manitou and first as Program Coordinator. |
 | Courtney Chan Admin & Facility | From Mississauga, Ontario, Courtney is a graduate of the University of Windsor with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy. She has worked the past three years in university residence as a Resident Assistant, a Community Assistant and coordinator of the "Green Team." She also has past camp experience as a volunteer at Loisirs au Soleil – French Day Camp. She also holds her Bronze Medallion. This will be Courtney's first summer at Manitou. |
 | Rebecca Cowley Admin & Facility | From Toronto, Ontario, has recently a semester at Neuchatel Junior College in Switzerland after graduating from Forest Hill Collegiate. Rebecca also spent the summer of 2008 studying Art in Italy. She has volunteer experience with several organizations including Free the Children. A Manitou camper for eight years, Rebecca returns after several years for her first summer on staff. |
 | Glen Crossman Admin & Facility | From Parry Sound, Ontario, Glen has recently shut down his own business to come and work for Manitou on a full-time basis. Glen has years of experience working with building foundations, excavations, plumbing, electrical and landscaping work. He returns for his sixth year on staff. |
 | Taylor Dabbah Admin & Facility | From Boca Raton, Florida, Taylor is a student at Spanish River High School. During the year, Taylor participates with the South Florida theatre troop "Broadway Bound" and volunteers at Boca Community Hospital. She is a member of the National Honors Society and the Honor Board. A Manitou camper for five years, Taylor completed our CIT program in 2009. This will be her first summer on staff. |
 | Barbara Deck Admin & Facility | From Toronto, Ontario, Barbara is a Nursing student at Ryerson University. She has completed clinical placement at Toronto Western Hospital and at Toronto General Hospital. She has previous experience organizing First Aid at a day camp in Toronto. She also was the co-host of "Wired for Sound" at CKLN Radio. This will be Barbara's first summer at Manitou. |
 | Jeremy Friedman Admin & Facility | Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Jeremy completed medical school there in 1985 and moved to Toronto, Ontario shortly after. He specialized in paediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto from 1990 to 1994, since then he has been on staff at the hospital as the Director of Inpatient Paediatric Medicine. He is also the author of the 2nd edition of the bestselling book The 3 AM Handbook: The most commonly asked questions about your child's health. He returns for his seventh summer at Manitou. |
 | Dan Galley Admin & Facility | From Dunchurch, Ontario, Dan works during the year as a self-employed forester in the Parry Sound area and is also an avid Animal Rights activist. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in Forestry. Dan returns for his eighth season at Manitou. |
 | Zvi Gorlick Admin & Facility | From Toronto, Ontario, Zvi has practiced Family Medicine in Toronto for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Medical School. He also volunteers as a house league hockey coach during the year. He returns for his tenth year at Manitou. |
 | Norm Jackson Admin & Facility | From McKellar, Ontario, Norm has lived and worked in the area his entire life in the Parry Sound/Muskoka area as a private contractor. He returns for his fifth summer on staff at Manitou. |
 | Dennis Jeffrey Admin & Facility | From Parry Sound, Ontario, Dennis has been part of the maintenance team with us and at the Inn at Manitou for many years. We estimate that Dennis' Manitou experience now exceeds 26 seasons making him easily the longest serving member of the Manitou staff team. |
 | Dory Kashin Admin & Facility | From Thornhill, Ontario, Dory is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in London with a degree in Media Information Technoculture and holds a post graduate degree in Sports Event Marketing. Dory worked for three years at the Richmond Hill Country Club Day Camp as the head of their Cooking program. A Manitou camper for nine years, Dory completed our CIT program in 2002. She returns for her third summer on staff and 12th at Manitou. |
 | Lisa Lang Admin & Facility | From Oakville, Ontario, Lisa is a student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver working towards her Masters of Landscape Architecture. She is a graduate of the Outdoor Pursuits program at the University of Calgary in Alberta and has worked as a group leader and lifeguard in several camp settings. She is trained in lead climbing, multipitch, top roping, ropes safety & rescue, and alpine and glacier travel in the Rocky Mountains and has experience teaching a University level rock-climbing course. She holds her Level 2 swift water rescue certification, is an ARCA certified Class 1 river instructor and holds her NLS. She also completed the LIT program at Camp Madeba and holds her RCM grade 10 level in piano and has traveled extensively through India and Asia. In 2005, she was named World Games Captain. Lisa returns for her eighth summer on staff at Manitou. |
 | Carolyn Lecours Admin & Facility | From Whitby, Ontario, Carolyn is a graduate of the Hospitality and Tourism program at George Brown College in Toronto. She has past work experience at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club and at the Four Seasons Hotel. Carolyn has completed several summer programs at Durham College in Figure Drawing, Video Editing and Audio Engineering. She was also a CIT at Glen Dhu Summer Camp and received the Girl Guides of Canada's Lady Baden Powell Award. This will be her first summer at Manitou. |
 | Sarah Lever Admin & Facility | From Unionville, Ontario, Sarah is a student at the University of Western Ontario in London studying Science. Sarah has past volunteer experience with the Canadian Cancer Society and Epilepsy Toronto. She also spends time playing guitar and pursuing photography. A Manitou camper for eight years, Sarah completed out CIT program in 2007. This will be her third summer on staff and 11th at Manitou. |
 | Todd Levy Admin & Facility | From Toronto, Ontario, Todd is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Medical School. He perused post-graduate studies in Toronto and London and now practices Family and Urgent Care Medicine in Toronto. Todd was a Manitou camper four three years and joins us now for his tenth summer as one of our Camp Doctors. |
 | Kara Martin Admin & Facility | From Armidale, Australia, Kara works as a Registered Nurse in Paediatrics and is a residential duty staff member at The Armidale School. During the year, she also coaches gymnastics and rugby at the school. She is a graduate of the University of New England with a degree in Nursing and is now working towards her Masters degree in Nursing Education. She also has experience working as an Aupair with autistic children in Marietta, Georgia. Kara has 15 years dance experience in Tap, Jazz and Ballet as a performer and assistant teacher at Tutu, Tap & Turn and also has experience as a soccer coach and reading tutor. This will be Kara's third summer at Manitou. |

She is a graduate of the University of New England, Armidale with a degree in Nursing. She has past experience working at Sydney Children`s Hospital and as a Swimming Instructor at Sawtell Sim Centre. This will be her first summer working at Manitou. |
 | Michael Peer Admin & Facility | Originally from Dundas, Ontario, Michael now lives in Toronto where he works in Paediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children. A graduate of the Medical School at the University of Western Ontario in London, Michael went on to train in Paediatrics at Sick Kids. He also spent several years at Camp Tawingo growing up. This will be his fourth summer at Manitou. |
 | Chuck Reid Admin & Facility | From McKellar, Ontario, Chuck is the most recent member of our facility team. He is a licensed carpenter having attended school in Ottawa. He has experience building homes with Viceroy Homes as well as log cabins. This will be his third summer at Manitou. |
