At Camp Manitou, FM 92.3 there is action on the airwaves from wakeup until bedtime. Our radio station is "live on-air" where campers are instructed in all aspects of a working radio station. Qualified instructors supervise our camper 'broadcasters' in planning programs, announcing, writing, reporting, news casting, producing, sports reporting, disc jockey, radio drama, and other radio skills. | |
The whole camp enjoys our camp 'broadcasters' daily music, news, and late night bedtime stories. The "Moose" keeps Manitou in tune and informed! In addition campers will be involved with our weekly camp newspaper, writing columns, doing interviews and preparing a real newspaper for the entire camp to read as well as for parents on vising day.
