Below is a basic guideline of what's needed for camp. Although it is only a guideline and, of course, substitutions will have to be made depending on activities and personal preference, keep in mind that maximum numbers for clothing are listed. Not only will more clothes not fit into the 2 duffel bags permitted, there is also not enough shelving room in cabins to accommodate more clothing! Please include activity appropriate clothing in the maximum number listed below.

PACKING

The above list suggests the maximum requirements. ONE OR TWO LARGE DUFFEL BAGS must be used in packing your belongings. There is neither room on the busses for extra, nor in the cabins. NO TRUNKS OR SUITCASES ARE PERMITTED! Any article of clothing "too good" to be packed in a duffel bag should not be at camp in the first place. One bag should hold all bedding, shoes and miscellaneous equipment. The other should hold all folded clothing. You may also want to pack a small "backpack" with odds & ends that can be carried on the bus. REMEMBER: Only 2 bags will be permitted into camp! PLEASE NOT MORE THEN TWO DUFFELS!

SPECIAL CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT

The following are special clothing and equipment requirements for campers participating in these activities. Remember that we are still a camp, so neither clothing nor equipment needs to be "top of the line". Also keep in mind that clothing items listed here should replace items on the above list rather then be packed in addition.

* TENNIS – Tennis shirt and shorts do not need to be "proper" tennis attire, but proper shoes must be worn. Campers attending inter-camp competitions or tournaments may want to bring one proper outfit.

***IN-LINE HOCKEY - We do supply helmets for our campers playing hockey but since many are playing every day, to ensure a safe fit and to maintain the health of our campers we recommend children bring their own helmet).

DO NOT BRING

Do not pack Gameboys or other computer games. They take away from the positive interaction among campers and often get lost and do not return home. If Gameboys are brought to camp, we will be forced to confiscate them and keep them in the office.

Do not bring expensive items (such as Golf Clubs etc.) We can not be responsible if they go missing.

You may, if you feel it necessary, pack a CD or MP3 player. We will not take them away from campers as long as they remain in the cabin! While we do understand the benefit of music at camp, we fear they may get lost and therefore recommend they stay at home.
