Experienced baseball staff assemble at Manitou to teach our campers the joy of the game. Our beginner diamond is designed to introduce younger campers to the pleasure of the game while our major league diamond complete with red clay infield, batting cages, and pitching machines, is tailored to the needs of most campers including our most dedicated. Whether a camper's interest is competitive or casual, our baseball program will enrich skills and enhance an appreciation for the game. Most importantly our campers will have fun and learn new skills in a fun and creative way. Basketball. Manitou's Basketball program is an exciting and energizing hub of activity. Our experienced staff instruct in ball handling, shooting skills, and game strategy including defensive and offensive planning. Campers are involved in both in camp competitions as well as inter-camp competitions with emphasis on team play, and sportsmanship.
